A puzzle
posted by saurabh in Uncategorized |So you can exercise your nerdular nerdence: some of you may have seen the billboard on Mass Ave that reads:
{first 10-digit prime found in consecutive digits of e}.com
Have fun. Once you solve that, there’s a second puzzle before you get the prize. Here’s the first million digits of e, to speed you on your way.
Hm. Just came upon this again. My methodology: use the Sieve of Eratosthenes to list all ten-digit primes, then scan the sequence for the first occurence using a simple table lookup.
