In this case, they fear terrorism and they are gradually, dreadfully, realizing that their government has made terrorist attacks more likely, rather than less. The same feeling I had on, if memory serves, September 17, 2001. Iran-Contra never had quite that level of immediate mortal terror. How much fucking worse could it get? Your government is selling arms to the hated Mullahs, arming a bunch of fascist thugs, RUNNING DRUGS for god's sake. What do they need to do before your heads DO explode, murder babies on live television?
