Hurrah for the LAT. But I doubt very much the LAT employed a set of crack code breakers to get the data off the drive.(Maybe I'm wrong, but journalists always seem kinda lazy about that sort of thing. We're less hackers than burrowers. ) AQ, on the other hand, is pretty tech-saavy and might even have such experts at its disposal.
