The presumption is, the poor thing’s mommy was an abusive over-feeder and abandoned it. They’re trying to locate her so they can lay the smack down. Incidentally, this is NOT the fattest cat I have ever seen. I’m pretty sure this one is fatter, though I have no weight comparison.
