i wrote a funny thing about this and a typographic catastrophe killed it. trust me, at the end i was suggesting that there be a godclock set to geneva time that shifted 10 seconds each at rise and fall of sun, that everyone could worship and obey at their discretion. pretty much nobody'd notice you weren't paying attention for a month or two. mark your time as you like, share your theories with friends. something to talk about when asking the time of strangers.

She works for the man.

Ms. Hedgehog is happy because she can now bike home from work in the light, which means the world will save energy as she leaves the car at home. Hoorah.

You're probably right, hedgehog, and the economic expense is mindboggling, but I have to admit I am really looking forward to a little afternoon day light when I'm not working.
