From yesterday’s Hawaii primaries:

One would-be vote at Kawananakoa Middle School said he and his wife turned around after being unable to find a parking space and seeing police ticket illegally parked cars near the school.

Yes, an orderly parking regimen clearly outweighs the import of the democratic process.

    Please! The democratic process.

    I vote out of spite, as I’m almost certain that many of my compatriots do. And if they don’t they vote based on lies that they’re comforted with.

    This democratic process is corrupted, and not by the cops giving tickets. That’s just superficiality standing in for the lies that we’re powerless to act against.
