Or rather they can't afford them. Between that and the fact that maybe half the country is above 4,000 meters (14,000 feet), there are stars. Visible. It also doesn't hurt that there are no planes. I didn't see a single contrail in that country. I guess the international gassing-the-public conspiracy hasn't made it that far south.
